In March Themes screened at Cinéma du Réel at the Pompidou Center in Paris. Many thanks to the amazing Nicole Brenez for her support and insightful programming.

Upcoming screenings of Themes & Variations include The Citizen Jane Film Festival and a Halloween night screening at The Chicago Underground Film Festival – hope to see you there! Themes also screened recently at the Harvest of the Arts fest in Lawrence, at OCULI and the annual UFVA conference where it won Best Experimental film.

Recently Portrait of an Imagined Woman was part of the Short Film Brigade summer show in Chicago. Which was tons of fun I hear… Themes & Variations include festival showings at Les Etats Generaux Du Doc in France (Harun Farocki’s favorite festival even). Themes will also show at the annual UFVA conference in Colorado Springs and I will be doing a solo show at the Bearded Child Film Festival in Grand Rapids, MN. Come to see it if you can!
